Kong Choon Keong, a Malaysian male aged 57, is our Financial Controller. He is responsible for overseeing accounting, finance, tax and treasury matters as well as human resources and administrative functions of our Group.

Kong Choon Keong graduated with Diploma in Commerce (Financial Accounting) from Tunku Abdul Rahman College in July 1991. He is a member and a registered chartered accountant with Malaysian Institute of Accountants since December 1999.

In December 1991, he began his career as an Audit Assistant at Monteiro & Heng (presently known as Baker Tilly Monteiro Heng), where he assisted the team leader in completing various audit assignments for different clients from the manufacturing industry.

In July 1992, he joined Kamal Skelchy Su Lim & Associates (presently known as PKF Malaysia) as an Audit Assistant, where he assisted the team leader in completing various audit assignments. He was then promoted to Audit Senior in July 1994, where he was responsible for planning, executing and leading audit assignments of the firm’s clients.

In September 1994, he joined TF Lee & Associates (presently known as TF Lee Lum Associates) as Audit Senior and was later promoted to Audit Supervisor in January 1999, where he was responsible for planning, executing and leading the firm’s clients in various audit and non-audit assignments.

In October 1999, he left TF Lee & Associates and joined Dalmuir (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in November 1999 as an Accountant, where he was involved in managing the accounting, payroll and administrative functions until July 2001.

In August 2001, he set up his own AFO Consulting firm, a sole-proprietorship business that was involved in providing accounting and finance outsourcing services. He exited the business by transferring to a third-party in June 2002.

In July 2002, he joined LQS Group Management Sdn Bhd as Senior Accountant, where he was responsible for managing the finance and accounting functions of property investment, call centre and voice-over-IP business units. In February 2006, he was transferred to Persistence of Vision Sdn Bhd, a business unit specialising in animation productions, where he was responsible for managing the finance and accounting functions of the company. Later in November 2006, he was transferred to Double Vision Sdn Bhd, a business unit involved in television programme and film production, and promoted to Financial Controller, where he was responsible for managing the finance and accounting functions of its group of companies before leaving in July 2007.

From August 2007 to February 2010, he served as Senior Finance Manager of Hexagon Holdings Berhad, a company previously listed on the Main Market of Bursa Securities, where he was responsible for the quarterly consolidation reporting and board papers preparation, liaising with his counterparts within Malaysia as well as overseas.

In February 2010, he left Hexagon Holdings Berhad to join TC Management Services Corporation Sdn Bhd in the same month, a unit under Tan Chong Motor Holdings Berhad, that is involved in the provision of management services, as their Senior Manager (Finance), where he was involved in the quarterly consolidation reporting for the group of companies as well as management/statutory reporting of the holding company and property investment company portfolio. He was later transferred to the treasury division as Senior Manager (Group Treasury) in November 2010 and was responsible for bank facilities related matters of Tan Chong Motor Holdings Berhad group of companies before leaving in October 2012.

In November 2012, he joined Brother International (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, where he served as Deputy General Manager (Finance and Administration) and was responsible for leading the team in managing the finance, accounting, human resources, administration, information technology as well as inventory and logistics functions.

In November 2013, he left Brother International (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and took a career break before he joined Semua Properties Sdn Bhd as Senior Manager (Finance) in January 2015, where he was responsible for managing the finance, accounting and tax matter of its group of companies before leaving in July 2015.

In October 2015, he joined mTouche Technology Berhad, a company listed on the ACE Market of Bursa Securities as Group Chief Financial Officer where he was overseeing the finance, accounting, tax, human resource and administrative functions of the group, as well as to ensure compliances with authorities’ regulatory requirements.

In April 2016, he left mTouche Technology Berhad to join PUC Berhad, a company listed on the ACE Market of Bursa as a Financial Controller, where he was responsible for leading finance team in handling finance, accounting and tax matters of the group’s local and overseas subsidiary companies.

In March 2020, he left PUC Berhad and took a short career break at the start of the Covid19 pandemic before joining Smart Gloves Holdings Sdn Bhd in November 2020, as Financial Controller, where he was responsible for leading finance team in handling matters pertaining to finance, accounting, treasury and tax matters.

In May 2021, he left Smart Gloves Holdings Sdn Bhd and took a career break before he joined our Group in April 2022, as our Financial Controller, where he assumed his current position and responsibilities.

Maintenance Manager

Foo Hon Wah, a Malaysian male aged 64, is our Maintenance Manager. He is responsible for overseeing our Group’s overall repair and maintenance activities including supervising the repair and maintenance team.

Foo Hon Wah completed his Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia studies from Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Hua Lian, Taiping in September 1979.

Upon completing his secondary studies in September 1979, he began his career as a Factory Operator in a chemical factory located in Seberang Perai, Penang, where he worked for approximately 2 years. Between 1982 to November 2001, he ran a street vending business that was involved in the sale of garments at night markets in Taiping, Perak. He then ceased his street vending business in November 2001 and took a career break.

In September 2002, he joined Regal Grand Sdn Bhd as Supervisor, where he was responsible for sourcing and procurement of automotive parts.

In June 2018, he left Regal Grand Sdn Bhd and joined Merit Performancez Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Merit Energy Sdn Bhd) (“Merit Performancez”) in July 2018 as a Site Worker where he reported to the project manager and was responsible for performing onsite maintenance tasks on generators. In October 2018, he left Merit Performancez and joined Express Mission in November 2018 as a Maintenance Supervisor, where he was responsible for maintenance and repair works of generators. He was promoted to Maintenance Manager in May 2022, a position which he had held until present.
